Just the Way You Are (Prima BAP & PPP)

After a few months, I finally got the chance to play along
with the latest Build A Page and Product Picks challenges from Prima.
and get to use many of the beautiful Prima products in my stash.

The August PPP challenge is full of retro and fun products
and a soft beautiful pastel palette.

The August BAP sketch, designed by Jennifer, is just as gorgeous
with lots od white space, swirly flourishes and butterflies.

I combined both challenges to create my layout.

My niece Ella is beaming on this picture, taken during her visit to Walt Disney World last Spring.

The colours of her face painting matches so well the August palette,
and I wanted to bring all those lovely colours on to the page using different mists
and paints and, of course, some of the fabulous Prima stencils.

I recently got the new Prima metal dies (flowers, leaves and doilies)
which I loved using for this page.  Look at the intricate design on those leaves!

I dabbed a little yellow on the Lace Sticker
to bring out more of the PPP colours.

I have so many of the Prima Wood Icons in my stash
that I was thrilled to use some of them on this layout.
I lightly dabbed some white paint on the flowers and added a little yellow to the butterflies.

Gotta love that smile!

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Here is a list of all Prima products used:
Watercolor Rainbow Collection "Because"
Perle Bebe - En Francais
Miss Godivas - Blush
Say It In Crystals
Wood Icons in a Box - Birds and Butterflies
Flowers Art Deco 6x5 Stencil
