LIVE IN THE MOMENT layout
(Dusty Attic DT - October Mood Board)

I hope you are having a beautiful October so far
and are up for a little Dusty Attic mood board inspiration today.

I am sure that you will agree with me that the Dusty Attic October board
is just stunning with all its Autumn-themed images.
I absolutely adore it and found it to be extremely inspiring.

I actually really enjoy the Fall season. If it wasn't so cold at times (I live in Canada!), it would most likely be my favorite season. I do love to wander in the woods when the leaves are changing colours and you can hear the sound of leaves under your feet. Sometimes a trail through the woods brings you to an unexpected river which is what happened this particular moment a few years back.

I thought that the Live In the Moment title was very fitting for this memory.
I covered it with a heavy coat of embossing powder.

On my background I used two Dusty Attic stencils, the Distressed Grid stencil with black shimmery paint and the Leaves stencil with copper velvet paste. I dabbed some Dusty in Colour Sunburnt Orange paint here and there to accentuate the Autumn hues of the paper and photo.

You can see below one of my favorite chipboard because it is so versatile which is the Perforated Mesh. I used embossing powder and a touch of Oceania on it.

The Leaves were treated with Sunburnt Orange with a very light dab of Cashmere.

I must say I absolutely love this colour palette in which the October board inspired me to create!

Happiness is... documenting these little moments in life with art!

I hope you enjoyed my take on the October Dusty Attic mood board.

PLAY ON tag
(More Than Words DT - October Mini Challenge)

It's Mini Challenge time over on the More Than Words blog,
and this month I have created a tag, featuring the October mini word!

Here is the October Mini Challenge board:

Click HERE to find out all you need to know about the Mini Challenge
and to see gorgeous inspiration from the More Than Words DT.
Remember that in order to participate, you have to share your project
on the More Than Words FB page right HERE by the end of the month.

I wanted to find a different way to use the word PLAY on my project
so I thought of this very famous quote from Shakespeare!

I went through my stash for several music-related embellishments
and found a few brad and some wooden music notes.

I sprayed my tag with some Lindy's and then dabbed on some white paint.

The flair is from Prima and I thought it went perfect with the music theme.

Hoping you will PLAY along with us!!

Until next time!

CRISP AUTUMN DAYS Layout
(Sketchabilities DT - Sketch #154 Challenge
+ Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo October Challenge)

It's Autumn and yes, it is a gorgeous season,
even if it precedes the season that I dread the most.
Hey, Canadian Winters are long and cruel, what can I say?

But sticking to Fall for now, I have to say that it makes
for some very beautiful scrapbooking pages full of warm rich colours,
like this one created with the Bo Bunny Enchanted Harvest collection.

My page design was based on Sketch #154 from Sketchabilities
.

I decided to fussy cut leaves from the beautiful patterned papers
which I find turned out awesome and looking like real leaves!

I popped up the cut leaves with 3D foam squares to create even more layers.

I used Lindy's sprays on my background which create the perfect watercolor effect.
And in my usual style, I whitewashed everything with white mist.

I have lots of photos in my stash taken in this season.
I thought this one matched best what I was trying to achieve with this page.

Thank you so much for visiting!

TOGETHER FOREVER Layout
(Dusty Attic DT)

I am back today to share another layout
created with gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard and more!

I was inspired by love as you can see and picked a light purple and green palette
with black accents on some torn patterned heart paper from Maja Design.
I chose this title from the Best Friends set which I simply just colored with Copic markers.

As you can see below, I cut out some pieces from the Heart Attack Border #1 and also colored it with black Copic. I used embossing powder on my other chipboard including the pretty Lace Border #2. I then dabbed on some Dusty In Colour Lavender Blush paint.

I split the beautiful Corner Flourish #3 and slipped each piece in my flower cluster.

If you are familiar with Dusty Attic products, you will know that they do not only produce chipboard, but they also offer pretty flowers in their Dusty In Bloom collection (now in limited supplies so hurry!). On this page, I used the Evening Blush set that matched perfectly my choice of papers and colored chipboard.

The perfect add-ons to any page are the Page Pebbles as well as Mini Tabs which you can see below. This photo of my man and I now dates back 12 years - it was taken during our first year of dating. I can hardly believe it has been that long, and we are more in love now than ever.

Now let's take a look at the Dusty Attic products used on my page.

HELLO FUN layout
(More Than Words DT - October Main Challenge)

It's October already!
Where has the Summer gone?

With this brand new layout inspired by the More Than Words October Main Challenge, I thought I would extend the sunshine and blue sky a bit longer.

Here is the October challenge board from More Than Words.
Word Inspiration - LEISURE
Creative Challenge - SPLATS

You can find all you need to know about this challenge and the fabulous prizes
up for grabs as well as inspiration from the very talented MTW DT right HERE.

No one knows how to have fun better than a child! This is what came to my mind when I saw the word inspiration this month. LEISURE is all about enjoying oneself to the fullest so I thought that documenting these photos of my niece enjoying a Summer day at the park would be perfect.

For the creative challenge, I took out lots of different paint mists and had a little fun myself creating a colourful SPLATS-y mess on my background.

I really wanted to keep my layout bright and fun to go along with these pictures.

I went through my stash and mix matched some embellishments from different collections.

I then added some white accents, like the big chipboard title, to contrast with the colourful splats.

These photos put a smile on my face!

I hope that you will play along with us at More Than Words!
