My June DT Reveal for 2Crafty - Part 2

As the title of this layout says, "What you see is what you get", and I hope that what you see will inspire you to create something of your own with your stash of 2Crafty Chipboard.

Make sure you read until the end as I will be revealing the lucky winner of my 2Crafty blog hop prize.

Before I show you details, I have to mention that I played along with the June Scrappy Friends challenges to create this layout, 4 in total, so there was inspiration all around.
First, I based my design on this pretty sketch from Grand Diva's Creative Corner:

Second, Rochelle Spears offered this beautiful image as inspiration (I was inspired by the leafy vines, the corrugated texture and the colors):
Thirdly, Scrappin'n'Happy gives a creative recipe to follow:3 patterned paper (the background paper,
- pink grid design and blue grid design
- twine (the bow on the tag)
- washi (i added a strip of grey lace MME washi tape right underneath the lace ribbon)
And last, Kristi B challenges us to use a 'color resist' technique (I whitewashed my corrugated cardboard frame and many parts of my layouts with gesso, molding paste and white paint.
Let's now look at more details:

I am very happy about this layout. I wanted to create a page both soft and elegant and I think I managed to do that, using the gorgeous 2Crafty Viney Page Frame which I covered with gesso then heated part of it to make it bubble up.  I then dabbed it with green and brown inks.
I added some shimmery pink and white flowers, 2 of my favorite colors to scrapbook.  I cut some leaves off the frame to tuck behind the flowers.

The Fencing Wire Panel was also covered with gesso and distress inks.

I love the Damask pieces which come 3 in a pack.  I have used the larger piece on my Eiffel Tower layout shared yesterday and the 2 smaller pieces on this one.  I dabbed with gesso mixed with pink stain.

Hope you like this 'Me' page. :)

Now, the moment you've all been waiting for!  The winner of my 2Crafty blog hop RAK!

Removing my fellow DT members, I was left with 34 commenters.

I used Random.Org to draw a winner (Sugar the cat was being a tad bit difficult).

And the winner is...
