Cardabilities DT Reveal Sketch #77

I am thrilled to be able to stay on the Cardabilities DT for another 3 months, especially after seeing all the sketches to come.  They are all gorgeous... as is this one, #77.

Sometimes I get inspired by a sketch and I follow it to a T.  Other times, my creativity branches out a little and the design starts to take a life of its own, although if you look very closely, you can still see many elements of the original sketch.

The horizontal strips on the sketch turned into flags and a piece of pleated ribbon.  You can see that I flipped the sketch and the 3 flowers are now on the left with the metal flower taking the place of the cogwheel as the main focus.  The buttons in the center of the flowers were replaced by jewels.

You will have surely recognized the whimsical "Country Garden" collection by Bo Bunny
How soft and sweet is this collection!

Here you can see the pretty Frosting Jewels also by Bo Bunny.

I hope you will play along with this new Cardabilities sketch and link up before June 28th for a chance to be featured.  Go check what the rest of the DT created for further inspiration!
