Let me explain how I solved this case!
The Scene is all about relaxation to me, so what better opportunity
to share my lair, the place I escape to on the weekends when I'm off work,
the room in my house that makes me the most happy, 'My Happy Place',
my scraproom! All the time I spent in this place truly rejuvenates me!
I respected the Scheme colour palette as much as I could
with a beautiful combination of carnation pink, pale sage green, sage green
(more of a greyish hue on my page), white and light golden yellow.
From the Evidence list, I chose a bit more than 3 clues:
book pages, leaves, string, text print, cursive font lettering, wood and triangles.
For the Testimony, I opted to document a weekend ritual
which is to of course spend it in my scraproom as much as I can!
I also hand-wrote my journaling on a little journaling card.
And always, the Major Case File includes a compulsory Sketch which
I was glad to follow because I simply LOVE playing with sketches!
I thought it fit in perfectly with the CSI case file and so I merged the 2 together,
using mostly 7 Dots Studio papers, tags, stickers and chipboard
(from a variety of their collections) on my page. As already mentioned,
my daily Weekend routine is to scrapbook, scrapbook and scrapbook! :)
And now let's look at some details:
The best part of my time spent in my scraproom is when Sugar the cat joins me!
I added a bit of stamping with 7 Dots Studio stamps on my background
and added color with several mists.
My scraproom has changed since this photoshoot I must say.
I changed furniture around, added some shelvings and fancy baskets
and right now as I write this, it looks like a tornado just passed through! hehe
These fancy leaves are from 7 Dots Studio as well. I love them!
There you go! Another case solved as a CSI Detective!
