A Beautiful Mess
(More Than Words June DT Reveal)

Oh, it sure got MESSY in my scraproom lately!

I created a "Beautiful Mess" on a 8 x 14 canvas using lots of different mediums, Prima flowers and Blue Fern Studios chipboard.

This mixed media canvas was created for the
June Main Challenge over at More Than Words!

Word Inspiration - IMAGINE
Creative Challenge - GET MESSY

As you know, the concept of the challenge is to both be inspired by the word and to incorporate the creative challenge on your project.  Click HERE for all the details of the June challenge along with lots of fabulous DT inspirations and info on our generous sponsors!!

Now let's see how I interpreted the challenge!

When I think of the word IMAGINE, of course my imagination runs wild, and this is the main basis behind my project this month. When creating this piece, I let my creativity loose all the way!

I used a combination of mists, alcohol inks, shimmerz, powders and lots of microbeads.  There are layers upon layers of colours!  I kept adding them until I was satisfied.

I sprayed mists over the flowers too and then added some gold perfect pearls along the edge of the petals as well as on the tip of my brushes.

It got so MESSY that my fingers stayed blue and purple for a couple days!

I hope you enjoy my creation and I so can't wait to see how messy you'll get!
