10 Christmas Cards
(Lemoncraft DT Reveal)

I am back today, exactly a month before Christmas Eve,
with a brand new LEMONCRAFT DT reveal!
I decided to get myself in the Christmas mood by using
the 'Christmas Greetings' collection to create lots of Christmas cards!
10 to be exact!!

First is a set of 3 very festive cards using some of the images
from the Vintage Time Labels 4 papers.  I also used the pretty cotton green ribbon
from the ribbon pack as well as badges.

The next set of cards are all decked in white, ivory and gold,
radiating peace and warmth.

I added some gold sheer ribbon, beautiful flowers and sparkly chipboard snowflakes.

The next 2 cards were created using a border snowflake punch from Martha Stewart
and I've tied a plastic tree ornamental snowflake on each.

These last 2 cards are simpler but certainly as sweet.
I fussy cut 2 of the Christmas baubles as well as some of the wreath leaves
from the 'Christmas Greetings' papers and popped them up against
a background stenciled with a little red glitter.

I hope I have put you in the Holiday mood with my creations!
I sure put myself in the mood!!

Warm hugs to you all!!

Let Your Light Shine Canvas
(SOD & SOE November Inspiration)

I'm back today to share with you yet another mixed media canvas,
this time inspired by the beautiful November Inspiration Board

I was inspired to create so many things by this board,
but I finally went down the path of the mauve and golden beige
from the mushrooms image and the doily shape cupcake plates,
as well as the quote and the overall shabby feel of the pictures.

As you can see, I used die-cut doilies
and lots of flowers in mauve, browns, black and white.

The canvas used is made of fabric on which I added more texture
by stenciling some modeling paste design.  I then sprayed some purple mists
along with white and a touch of gold.

I love using sequins on my projects to add drops of colour
and I dabbed some white paint over all embellishments and papers
to give them my signature white wash style.

I hope you like my canvas!
Please let me know by leaving me a comment - I always love to read you!!

Most Wonderful Time Canvas
(SATW November DT Reveal)

It's the 16th of the month so time for the mid-month reveal
at SCRAP AROUND THE WORLD, so you will see below my project
inspired by the November mood board challenge that went live on the 1st!

This warm and cozy Mood Board was created by
Tiphanie Barbreau from France

Click HERE to see the project reveal of the first part of the SATW DT
and HERE to see the mid-month reveal that premiered today, including mine!

As soon as I saw this mood board, I had an inspiration to use this pretty house
border chipboard on a 8x16 canvas and make a beautiful Christmas scene
with a sparkly blue sky, everything covered with a snow white glittery effect.

I glued gold paper on the back of the chipboard to make the windows light up.
I used a Snow Maker pen as well as Stickles to create the snow covered rooftops.

Some microbeads on the background give the illusion of falling snow.

Hope you like my take on the SATW November mood board!

Butterfly Kisses Canvas
(inspired by the 7 Dots Studio October Challenge)

It's no surprise that I LOVE the woodgrain trend,
like most every other scrapbooker out there!

So I was excited to see the current challenge at 7 DOTS STUDIO
and I was hoping to find the time to play along, which I did!

Click HERE to find out all about this challenge!

Here is my entry!
(also a special order from a coworker for her niece)

I created this mixed media canvas
using woodgrain papers from the 7 Dots Studio 'Nature Walk' collection
as well as die-cut shapes, stickers and chipboard, also from that line.

I added a stenciled leaf motif on the base along with microbeads
and glitter glue with tints of blue and purple.

You can find the woodgrain motif also on some brads.

I love how this very earthy natural themed canvas turned out!

Thank you 7 Dots Studio for the inspiration!

Today Mixed Media Canvas
(Day 3 of C'est Magnifique GDT)

For my final share as part of my GDT reveal for C'EST MAGNIFIQUE KITS,
I used up most of the papers, flowers and buttons
left over from the Main kit and its add-ons to create this mixed media canvas!

After priming my canvas with white gesso,
I stenciled in some molding paste and added layers upon layers
of inks, mists and paints to reach the desired shades of purple and brown.

After my base was completely dry, I started
gluing down my paper pieces as well as flowers and buttons
which I dabbed with different shimmery paints, then topped
with my signature white!

I wanted to find a great quote to go with the 'Today' title
and I opted for this one, short and to the point.
Words to live by, that's for sure!

And this concludes my work as GDT for C'est Magnifique.

Thank you again to Deonna, owner, and Dana, DT Coordinator, for having me!

2 Juliet Cards
(Day 2 of C'est Magnifique GDT)

I am back with some more of my creations
using the November Main Kit from C'EST MAGNIFIQUE!

This kit offers so much material that even after 5 pages done
(see yesterday's post HERE),
I wasn't finished!  Using some of my leftovers,
I created these 2 cards that I call my 'Juliet' cards.

The first one is dressed in mostly red and yellow with lovely pink roses:

I used the letters in the 'Juliet' die-cut shape pack to spell 'happy',
perfect for a birthday card, quite obviously.

My other card is adorned in yellow and blue,
using some more of those beautiful buttons from the kit.

I have to confess... this one is my favorite. :)

Come back tomorrow!
I'll have even more to share with you
from the C'est Magnifique November kit!

4 Special Layouts
(Day 1 of C'est Magnifique GDT)

I am so thrilled to have been asked to guest design at C'EST MAGNIFIQUE KITS
this month.  I have been very busy creating with their November Main kit!

What a wonderful kit that is the November Main kit
full of 2 of my favorite paper manufactures, Blue Fern Studios & Bo Bunny
and choc full of Noteworthy die-cut shapes, stickers, fancy titles,
bling and buttons! Combined with the Paper Add-on, I had plenty to work with!

Thank you Deonna & Dana for this creative opportunity!

November Main Kit

Paper Add-On Kit

Not to mention all those pretty flowers in the Flower Add-On Kit!

And there are more where these came from.
To view all the November kits, click HERE!

This will be a LONG post so let's get started!

Let's take a look first at my single-page layouts, 3 of them:

This page featured my parents some years back.
My father has since passed away and it felt good to be able to scrap this picture
and think back on some lovely memories.

You can see that my papers and embellishments are covered
with a coat of white that has become my signature style, so to speak.
I love the whitewash and frosted look and to create that effect,
I simply dab some white acrylic paint all over my project, flowers and all!

The sepia toned photo looks awesome amid all those blue, brown and beige flowers!

Next is this layout of me and my honey using mostly
the Bo Bunny 'Juliet' papers, die-cut shapes and stickers!

I love how all those die-cut shapes allowed me to add
layers upon layers of different designs and colors on my page.

Some fussy cutting and some more of the white paint dabs to finish!

My 3rd single page layout created with the Main kit is more focused
on the Blue Fern Studios 'Paisley & Vine' collection's fun and bright patterns.

I added some polkadot design on the background using a stencil
and molding paste, colored the white cardstock titles with red marker
and glued on some buttons to bring in the colors of the papers.

I absolutely adore this combination of fun patterns and bright palette!
And look at the tiny Petaloo flowers from the Add-on Flower kit!
A favorite of mine for sure!

The cute little girl in the pictures is my niece Ella!

Whenever I work with a kit, I always love to go back to my roots
and create at least 1 double-page layout.

For this layout, I opted for lots of flowers over
this lovely bracket shape patterned paper from Kaisercraft
that I cut in half diagonally to board each side of my double-page.

This is me, feeling very 'serene', lounging on a rock at the Falls.

Yes! I created 5 total pages with this kit and...

I'll be back tomorrow with MORE!
