My Creative Scrapbook DT Reveal - February Limited Edition Kit Part 2

I love the vintage feel of the Carta Bella's Yesterday collection,
featured in the Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

Seeing a lot of the images immediately reminded me of my grandmother
who you can see in the picture below, taken on her birthday a few years ago.
She is no longer with us, but I still think of her often and will always have fond memories of her.

I added some stenciling with molding paste on the background as you can see.

And flowers, lots of pretty flowers,
including those beautiful mini red roses,
of which you get approx a dozen in the kit.

Speaking of roses...

This rose was the first rose given to me by Yves,
in the first months when we were dating.
He was working in the neighboring province of Quebec then (about 10 hour drive)
and I had gone to visit him for a couple weeks.

He had a surprise waiting for me when I arrived. :)

I decided to paint several of the Crate Paper frames black,
topped with my signature dabs of white.

And finally, a sweet simple card created with my LE kit leftovers.

I already can't wait to start playing with next month's kits!
