Valentine Cards (My Creative Scrapbook Main Kit)

Since the 1st day of this month of love, we have seen countless Valentine projects throughout the virtual scrapbooking world.  I have to say that "LOVE" is probably the #1 theme to scrapbook for most, and undoubtedly for me.  Whether it be love of your partner, love of your kids, love of your pets, love of a certain hobby or season... the possibilities are endless.

Creating "LOVE" cards is a favorite too!  I created 3 cards as part of the February My Creative Scrapbook GDT using their Main Kit.  I shared them with you yesterday during the full reveal, but today I will show you a few more details.

For this first one, i was inspired by none other than the latest Cardabilities sketch challenge:
Karan Gerber, the founder of Cardabilities and its partner site Sketchabilities, makes wonderful sketches, all more beautiful from one to the next.  Sketchabilities' was one of my first DT experiences and that time spent creating with Karan and the rest of the team was so rewarding for me.  In fact, Cardabilities and Sketchabilities are both looking for new designers right now so if you're interested in a great creative and friendly atmosphere, i urge you to apply now!

Here is my Sweetheart card inspired by sketch#68.
So soft and pretty - i love the Prima flowers that came with this MCS kit!
I would also love to enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp weekly challenge which is 'Have a Heart!' :)

Although a little less elegant, my next 2 cards are perfect for Valentine's Day too.

I created the first one for my nieces.  I know they will enjoy the vibrant colors and the vellum heart pocket for which i'll share a how-to tutorial later on this month.

And last:

Visit again tomorrow when i share with you another project inspired by LOVE and by one of Karan Gerber's sketches, #84 from Sketchabilities.
