It has been a little more than a month now since Yves and I brought home a little furball by the name of... SUGAR
Sugar is a 2-year-old kitty whose previous owners could not care for her anymore, so my brother and his fiance had taken her in, but their 2 other cats didn't like that very much. During a brief visit to my brother's, we met Sugar for the first time and knowing that it wasn't working out with her 2 feline friends, we made the 'long' 3-hour drive home with her in the backseat (in a pet carrier of course) meowing incessantly. Right away though, she took to her new suroundings, and human parents, and ever since, our home has been hers! Literally... HERS! hehe
Whenever i sit down in front of my craft table, ready to create, she always comes to join me and will meow and beg until i let her hop on my lap for a serious petting session that lasts at least 30 minutes! She is, by far, the cuddliest cat i've ever known!

Today, i'm sharing with you my first layout about Sugar... the first, but surely not the last!
My layout is based this amazing sketch by Kiki at Creative Scrappers. It is another reveal day at Creative Scrappers and i urge you to click HERE to see all the DT's creations inspired by this sketch. If you have your own version of a cuddly furball like Sugar, maybe you could honor him/her by creating them a layout :) Of course, you can make your layout with ANY theme in mind for the challenge. If you link up sponsor, Deena Ziegler.your layout before the end of December, you could win a prize from this month's sponsor, Deena Ziegler.
Now let's take a look at this layout (and Sugar) up close! ;)
I used the Now and Then collection by Teresa Collins. Beautiful!
Now, how could we ever resist such an adorable face?!

Congrats on your little furbaby! I took in my third stray cat about a month ago. Hopefully she will get along with the other two, don't know yet as she has been confined to the porch while we de-flea and de-worm her. Your layout is amazing as always. I love the cat perched on the bird cage.
