More layouts with the MCS October Limited Edition kit

If you love shabby chic and elegant designs like I do,
then the Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook is the one for you!

The October LE kit features Coffee Break from Prima along with some beautiful Shimelle collection papers from American Crafts, perfect for these pictures
taken during my friend's Nathalie's Tea Party Baby Shower.

Note: This layout will be published in the Spring 2015 issue of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine.
Stay tuned until then when I'm allowed to share it with you again.

I added doilies from my own stash to go along with the tea party theme.

Included in the kit are the Coffee Break Ephemera Pack from Prima (look at the adorable spoon and cup!) and some wood veneers from Bo Bunny.

My last layout using the LE kit is of me and Yves when we first started dating.

I used Distress Stain to colour the white Thickers the perfect shade of teal to go with the flowers.  I then lightly dabbed some white paint over them,
as well as over most elements on my layout.

More layouts with the MCS October Main kit

Let's take another look at the October Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook
and see some more layouts created with it.

I think this is my favorite layout using the Main kit.
I absolutely love this picture taken a few years ago during a stroll through the woods. There was a clearing at some point and that is the view I saw from where I stood.
It was absolutely breathtaking.

Look at these gorgeous Prima canvas flowers included in the kit!

My next layout is of me and my good friend Christine
whose friendship I'm so thankful for.

Christine and I met online, a little over 10 years ago, on an IRC chatroom in which we both spent a lot of time (too much time, dare I say! ha!).
We were both huge fans of Tori Amos and,
despite a 10 year difference (she's the younger one), we hit it off instantly.
We met in real life that same Summer and have been great friends ever since.

That deer from the Carta Bella chipboard pack is so adorable.

Speaking of giving thanks,
I wish to thank all of YOU who take the time to visit my blog regularly
and who leave encouraging comments.
I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful creative family!

Discover (Scrap Our Stash DT Reveal & Fancy Pants Design Inspiration)

Hey Crafters!!!
It’s October and time for a new stash challenge! Woohoo!
Here's our
October Stash Challenge:
- See more at: http://scrapourstash.blogspot.ca/2014/10/october-stash-challenge-19-bingo.html#sthash.uluw0CgT.dpuf
Click HERE to see my post for My Creative Scrapbook Birthday Bash Blog Hop.  It's the last day that you can participate for the chance to win some awesome prizes!

Today, it's time for another DT reveal for Scrap Our Stash!

The October Stash Challenge is a fun one.

Who doesn't like a good game of crafty BINGO!?

So it's easy...
Challenge #19 requires you to create a new layout and choose any line of BINGO
(vertical, horizontal or diagonal) from the card provided and add those items to your layout.
Please note in your blog write up which row you used to complete your layout.

Click HERE to learn more about this challenge
and link up your layout by October 29th.

And remember to shout out...
BINGO!

I chose the vertical row under B.
I digged deep into my stash to create this layout and had tremendous fun looking for all the items listed!
I added 2 stick pins from My Mind's Eye, rhinestone flourish from Zva Creative, a couple enamel arrows from Heidi Swapp and polka dot paper and a journal card, both from Fancy Pants Design.

Speaking of Fancy Pants Design,
I was also inspired by their Sketch This! October Contest to create my layout design.

Although one of their older ones, I have always loved the It's the Little Things collection.
Cute and adorable in every way.  I also used this line's rub-ons, sticker elements and glitter cuts.

So, all in all, a very fun layout of 3 little girls having a grand ol' time at Canada's Wonderland in Toronto.

Life sure is good!

Thank you for stopping by!

I'll have more DT projects for My Creative Scrapbook to share with you tomorrow!

Book Club Pick (MCS October Limited Edition kit)

Click HERE to see my post for My Creative Scrapbook Birthday Bash Blog Hop.

I'm back today with another layout created with the October Limited Edition kit

I love the Coffee Break collection from Prima
as it involves 1 of my favorite things... books.
Life of Pi is one of my all-time favorite books and was my top book club read.
As you can see by the picture,
we took the 'Pi' theme to a whole new level (PIES!!!)!  ha!

I used part of the Prima packaging to create some borders and tags.

Tomorrow is reveal day for Scrap Our Stash challenge blog
and I'll be back the next day with more MCS creations.

About Fall & Some Extras (MCS October Main kit)

Click HERE to see my post for My Creative Scrapbook Birthday Bash Blog Hop.

If you missed yesterday's post about the My Creative Scrapbook kits reveal,
I strongly encourage you to check it out. (link above)
There are major PRIZES involved!

Along with the Echo Park and Carta Bella papers included in the October Main kit
is a beautiful orange design from Jillibean Soup
and, as soon s I saw it, first thought that came to my mine was... pumpkin!

So I created this layout using that paper to make a large pumpkin as my focal point.

I popped up each section of the pumpkin using 3D foam dots and added some handmade stitches to the edges, giving it more of a country harvest look.

Also from Jillibean Soup is a sheet of kraft placemats.  Love them!

Next, here are a few cards also created with the Main kit,
all with a Fall theme, quite obviously :)
