Heart & Soul LO & French Garden Card (Meg's Garden DT Reveal)

It's time for another DT reveal for Meg's Garden.

I have created this very elegant and romantic layout with The French Garden collection
and a variety of other nice products available in the Meg's Garden Store.

Using the "Le Jardin" pattern paper as my base, I added a fancy stencil design with molding paste and some painted corrugated cardboard, that looks like pleated ribbon, along the right edge.

My flower cluster includes lots of flowers available at Meg's Garden, including the pretty Ivory poppy.

I love the German Scrap doily strips.

Next, let's take a look at a card I made, using papers from the Cardmaker Mini Pack.

Again, you see strips of German Scrap scallop border
as well as a beautiful vintage lady image and a fussy cut butterfly,
both from The French Garden "Cut & Create" paper.

I added a tint of red to the brass metal trinket with Ranger alcohol ink.

Another great time creating with Meg's Garden!

Products used from Meg's Garden Store:
Rose Leaves; Green Leaves
Mini Ivory Rosebuds;Cherry Blossoms;Azaleas
Fabric Flowers
Ivory Poppy; Pale Pink Heirloom; White Heirloom
Laser Cut Frames, Scrolls & Corners

As promised, I'm back with another card
inspired by the Prima 12 Days of Christmas Cards challenge

Day 7 was all about using either Wood Icons or Say It in Crystals (or both as I did)!

Prima products used are: Welcome to Paris Say It in Crystals, Leaves Wood Icons, Solid Coordinates Road Trip Flowers, Frost Canson II Flowers and Tea Thyme paper along with some older Prima paper.

Thanks to Prima for the inspiration!

I'm also entering this card in this week's Anything Goes challenge

Christmas Card (Prima Day 2 & Cardabilities #112)

This is my 2nd post today.
To see Sneak Peeks of My Creative Scrapbook December kits, click HERE.

Well, it's December and obviously I'm going to be sharing
a LOT of Christmas-themed projects this month,
starting with a very elegant card created with Prima products
and inspired by their 12 Days of Christmas Cards challenge

Day 2 was all about using Prima dies!

I have also been inspired by the beautiful Sketch #112 from Cardabilities.
Love the vertical flourish on this card, the sentiment on a flag and all that white space.

I used the Metal Die Doily 2.
I cut the doily in half and cut out the center piece of the 2nd half
and used it as a smaller doily on the left edge of my card.

Other Prima products used are paper from the Prima Fairy Belle collection,
Frost Canson II Flowers, Orchard Mix Sahara Flowers and Medley Forest leaf vines.

As I normally do, I dabbed some white paint over the edges of my paper and on my embellishments,
giving the whole card a Wintery frosty look.

Come back a bit later today to see another card,
also inspired by the Prima 12 Days of Christmas Card challenge!

Joy of Winter (WW1 December DT Reveal - Paloma)

The 1st of each month is always a very happy time for me
as it is the my DT reveal day for a brand new challenge at White with 1.

Here is December's colour:

I found this silvery grey colour perfect for a Winter layout,
and that's what I did.

This month, each DT girl received this pack of homemade embellishments
from Charm's Creations to use on our layout.

Here are some close-ups:

I used many pieces that I got at my local Dollarstore on this layout including the 'Joy' title and trees.  I just painted them over with silver paint and then dabbed them with white until I got the right shade of grey I wanted, with a touch of sparkle.

Thank you for joining in on another DT reveal for White with 1!
