Belle Mixed Media Canvas (Lemoncraft DT Reveal & Tutorial)

Greetings to all of you!

It is time for another LEMONCRAFT DT reveal and this month
I am also happy to share with you a tutorial on how I created this beautiful mixed media canvas.

and to find out how to get yourself some of the awesome collections
and products used on my project.

I used some products from the 'Neverending Summer' collection 

as well as flowers and several other products available at the Lemoncraft shop.

I used many different mists to create the ink splatters
on top of a stencilled background.

I love the look of the the microbeads clumped together and covered in paint.

This little cutie is Jade, my friends' daughter.

2 Cute Baby Boy Cards

I was recently asked by a friend to create 2 baby boy cards

for some friends of hers who are both expecting.

The first is more of a simple style:

And the second is more shabby chic:

Both of them in the typical blue of course! :)

Colourful Canvas (Scrap Around the World DT Reveal)

It's the 16th of the month so time for the mid-month reveal

at SCRAP AROUND THE WORLD, so you will see below my project

inspired by the October mood board challenge that went live on the 1st!

This bold, bright and colorful Mood Board was created by 

Heather McMahon from Australia.

This is a 10 x 8 inches canvas created
with lots of mixed media elements
and inspired by all the bright and beautiful colours
of Heather's fabulous mood board!

After creating some texture on my canvas with a stencil
and molding paste, I used a combination
of mists, alcohol inks, acrylic glazes, glitter and microbeads
to create all the rainbow colour effects.

I edited my photos with Picassa to include the colourful borders.

I added chipboard and sequins as well as paper flowers.

"E" Mixed Media Canvas (Off the Rails October DT Reveal)

Here's my project based on the mood palette, 
and most inspiration the overall feel of the images.

As you can see, I created a vertical canvas, sized at 7 x 14 inches.

It was a special order from a co-worker; the picture is of her little girl Esperanza.

I used many mediums on the canvas background

to add texture and colour which I will explain more in depth

in a photo tutorial on the OTRS blog later on this month.

I love the mix of blues/aquas with accents of black and white, as well as kraft.

Sweet Moments (White with 1 DT Reveal - Peach Puff)

This month's color challenge at WHITE WITH 1 has just been revealed today!

Peach Puff... soft pastel, not pink, not orange, but a sweet spot in between. 

To showcase this sweet colour, I created a layout with my favorite girls, 

my sweet nieces when they were just babies with their Memere, my mom.

In my flower cluster, you can see a mixture of silk, paper and resin.

I love this picture - such a sweet memory!
