my OTR creations every second month.  On the months that I am not creating
a project, I will still share with you the monthly challenge to inspire you to play along.
First reveal is on the 1st of the month and 2nd reveal goes live on the 15th.
I will also be preparing a tutorial based on my monthly project that
will be shared on here and on the OTR blog a bit later in the month.

This month, Off the Rails Scrapbooking is offering you not one,
but TWO beautiful mood palettes to choose from as inspiration

or

If either of these mood palettes inspire you to create,
then link up HERE by the end of the month!
You will see all the amazing creations of Team A's 1st reveal and

This month's sponsor is Pam Kuhn from Kaszazz.
Pam is offering a $25 gift voucher to our winner for April.

Now let's take a look at my layout!

that I was chose the 2nd mood palette as inspiration.

The chipboard used is from 2Crafty and the cute pink flowers are from Petaloo.

Pretty in Pink Card
(Cardabilities Sketch #120)

I had a request from a co-worker this week
to create a pretty in pink birthday card for her daughter.

When I saw this beautiful sketch on the Cardabilities blog,
I knew that it would be the perfect design for my card.

If you like Sketch#120 from Cardabilities and you would like to play along,
click HERE for all the details!

I chose a white cardstock as the base on which I added
some fancy stenciling with modeling paste and dabs of white paint.
The big pink flower is from Recollections, the pink gems from Prima
and the chipboard leafy stem from 2Crafty.

Let's look at some close-ups:

I would love to read what you think of my cards in the comments!

Thank you for visiting!

Dream Big
(April SOS Stash Challenge & Bo Bunny April Sketch)

A brand new challenge has gone live on the Scrap Our Stash blog on April 1st!

One thing I love about Scrap Our Stash challenges is that you can combine them
with other challenges so that the more you are challenged, the more you are inspired.
That's the way it works for me anyway, and I'm sure that many of you are the same.
For the stash challenge this month, I created a layout using
mostly products from one of my all-time favorite manufacture, Bo Bunny.

The layout was also inspired by the Bo Bunny sketch challenge for April.

And now here is my layout...

Now let's talk about how I incorporated the S-T-A-M-P word challenge into my project!

- S -
I decided to go down the obvious path and chose to add
some STAMPING on my background and some of my patterned paper.
I used the Bo Bunny Distressed Textures Stamp set which I just adore.

- T -
The letter T inspired me to use TAGS on which I tied pretty little bows using
a satin blue ribbon from the Bo Bunny Newsprint Wraps pack.

 - A -
For the letter A, I decided to add some large ALPHA chipboard painted yellow
to create a big bold title to match the overall palette of my page.

- M -
The little METAL owl trinket is always a great symbol of
any learning-themed project and also stands for the letter M.

- P -
And finally, I added some POLKADOT pattern in both the stamping, but also the patterned paper, that comes from the Rose Café collection, also from Bo Bunny.

Before I go, I have to add that the sweet little grad in the photo is my niece Ella,
dating back a few years. She just turned 10 a few weeks ago!!
A very proud Auntie that makes me! smile emoticon

If you want to play along with the Scrap Our Stash challenge,
go HERE for the details and to link up your layout by April 29th
for a chance to win a prize from Creative Embellishments.

You can do like me and combine it with the Bo Bunny April Sketch challenge
and also link it up HERE for a chance to win some fabulous Bo Bunny goodies!

All Bo Bunny products used from my stash are:
Rose Café patterned papers (Rose Café Dot, Rose Café Dreamers)
Distressed Textures Stamp
Newsprint Wraps
Country Garden Layered Chipboard
Somewhere in Time Brads
Denim Blue Daisy Blossoms
Chunky Charms Clear Swirls & Brackets
Bleached Bare Naked Chipboard
4" Small Doilies

Who's Who In My Zoo
(2Crafty Chipboard DT Reveal 2]

Yesterday I shared with you a more sophisticated masculine layout.

Today's layout is a double-page full of fun and wild 2Crafty designs!

Pictures are of my friend's son Tristan on a day outing at the zoo
so what better title than "Who's Who In My Zoo"!

I picked a few of my favorite animals from both the "Jungle 1" set (monkey & giraffe)
and the "Jungle 2" set (snake & elephant) and colored them using Copic markers.
I did the same with the leafy stem from "Foliage Set 1".

Here, you can see the cute giraffe plus a piece from the "Mini Fast Forward Arrows".

This fun twirly arrow from the "Doodled Arrows" set seemed perfect to try
and mimmick the snake movement.  I added a few more pieces from this set throughout my page.

An elephant peaks through from behind one of the pictures
as does a piece of the "Turkish Lattice Panel" from the patterned paper.
I found that this panel looked like wire fencing of the cages.

2Crafty Chipboard used:

Well, I hope you enjoyed my masculine creations!

It was a challenge to keep from using lace and flowers and doilies this month,
but it just goes to show how so very versatile 2Crafty chipboard is...
there are designs for every style of layout!
Check the store HERE to see them all!!!
