 With Summer fast approaching, the season of weddings, I'm sure that I'll be able to put this 'Love' card to good use!

A New Term As Cardabilities DT

I am very happy to announce that i have been asked to remain on the Cardabilities DT for a new term starting in June until August!  I am thrilled to keep working with Karan's beautiful sketches and hope to inspire you in your card creation these next few months.

Girl Always (The Color Room MCS GDT)

I am sure you have heard of The Color Room before.  Twice a month, they offer a different color palette (all beautiful i might add) and sketch to use with it if desired as a very inspiring challenge to their blog readers.  Well, guess who is sponsoring The Color Room this month?

My Creative Scrapbook

So as a MCS DT member, i have been invited to guest design for The Color Room.  I created a layout following Palette #150 which includes gorgeous shades of aqua, cream, tangerine and orange.

I also used this funky sketch from TCR to go along with the palette:

I have to say although i used to LOVE the color orange as a child (it was always the crayon i picked first!), i rarely find myself scrapbooking that color unless it's Halloween.  But this color palette had my creativity going all kinds of direction.  Orange and aqua.... beautiful match!

I went searching through my huge stack of papers and i found this since-retired BoBunny collection called Kitchen Spice.  I remember i LOVED this collection so much when it was released that i bought 4 sheets of each design, but i ended up barely using it for no particular reason.  

I have enough paper in my scraproom to last me 3 lifetimes, but still, i keep on buying more :P

MCS DT Reveal for May - Part 3

I am sharing today the rest of my creations done with this month's Album Kit and Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook full of Simple Stories goodies!

This layout was created with the Album kit.  I love the colors of this layout and all the chipboard accents that come with the Simple Stories "24/7" collection.   I also adore that print design!  I even made my own flowers and border with book paper to match.

Next, i created this mini-canvas in honour of all scrappers out there! :)

Then, still with the Album kit, I made 2 cute birthday cards:

And finally, a tag (my FIRST tag ever!):

Like the Album kit, the Main kit is full of Simple Stories.  "Vintage Bliss" is the featured collection.

 A fun layout of Ella with some of her friends, enjoying the sun last year!

 How do you like those little BasicGrey bottlecaps included in the kit?  So cute!!!
