TPV Challenge #55 (Nautical Theme)

I don't know how many of you out there are lucky enough to live near the ocean like i do, but i must say that there are no more special moments in the Summer than the ones i spend on the ocean shore, warm sand between my toes, watching and hearing the waves come and go.

This week's challenge at The Paper Variety pays tribute to anything nautical...

Link your project HERE before noon on Tuesday to be eligible for this awesome prize from WeScrapKits.

Make sure to visit The Paper Variety for more information on this challenge and to check out my fellow DT members' wonderful work!

Here is the layout i made using Echo Park's Splash collection, one of the best collections of the Summer.

All the multicolored designs and water-theme stickers are so much fun to use.

I made this layout for my friend Nathalie.  These are pictures of her and her little boy Tristan during his first dip in the ocean.  How sweet is he!

Fancy Friday Challenge: Cards

This will be a very quick post as i'm already WAY past my bedtime!  I want to share with you a card i recently made for a co-worker.  I used a very favorite collection of mine, Fancy Pants' Happy Together.

I am entering this card in the Fancy Friday Challenge which is to make a card, any theme, to celebrate World Card Making Day which was last Saturday.  Since Saturday, i actually made 4 cards!  This one is definitely my favorite!

I really hope she enjoys looking at it as much as i enjoyed making it! :)

TPV Challenge #54 (Forest Friends)

Foxes, hares, owls and raccoon!  This week's challenge at The Paper Variety honors our furry forest friends.

Our sponsor is Scrap-Friendzy and the prize is a gorgeous Sea-side Cottage Kit!

If you want to try and win this beautiful kit, come play along with us and link your project HERE before noon on Tuesday, October 11th.  If you want the chance for your project to be spotlighted on The Paper Variety blog, link up before Sunday evening!

Can't wait to see what forest friend is your favorite!
