Sew Sweet (My Creative Sketches)

I must confess - i haven't been creating lately!  But i have a good excuse!  I am in the process of reorganizing my scraproom - and i mean REORGANIZING!  I moved furniture around, thrown a lot of stuff away, and am sorting through everything to make sure to put it in its rightful place.  I am hoping to be done in a couple days and to be able to start craftin' away again by the weekend.  I have to!  I have a few DT projects to finish!  I'll be sure to post pictures of my 'new' room in the near future!

In the meantime, i want to share with you again this layout i created for my GDT spot with My Creative Scrapbook this month.  This layout was created with the Limited Edition kit and was inspired the January sketch at My Creative Sketches.  Check out all the DT inspiration HERE and the fabulous prize you could win by playing along.  Like all prizes at My Creative Sketches, it's a BEAUTY!

Spectacular (CS#243 DT Reveal)

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far!  It's not over yet so make sure to squeeze in every little moment of freedom you can before Monday rolls around - hehehe

Take time to scrap today and get inspired by this week's new sketch from Creative Scrappers!  This one comes to us from Juliana Michaels and it's a cutie!  Sketch#243 is perfect for any type of layouts!

I thought i'd go a little crazy with the flags this time - hehe

If you remember, my last DT reveal for CS was all about Girl Power.  This time around, let's go a bit more masculine!

I created this double-page layout (the left side is based on the sketch) using more cute photos of my friend's little boy, Tristan, and some older BoBunny collection named Block Party.

Can you count the number of flags on this 2-page spread?!?  hehehe  Even i lose count every time :P

I love Tristan's bright-eyed look on this picture... and the bright bold colors of this layout!

Birthday Card Set (SIWAS DT Reveal)

It is time for another DT reveal at Scrap It with a Song!  I can't believe that my 6-month term with SIWAS is almost done - only 1 more reveal to go after this one!

Today, we are craftin' to the sound of one of my fave singers.... the one and only Adele!  The song pick is her hit song Rumour Has It.  Visit the SIWAS blog to see all the DT inspiration and to see what you could win if you play along this month!  It's a fabulous prize!

Whenever i played the phrase 'Rumour has it' in my head, all i could think of was 'It's your birthday!' so i thought why not make a special birthday card...  I ended up making 5!

GDT Reveal for My Creative Scrapbook January Kits

YES!  You read right in my post title!  I have been asked to guest design the month again for the wonderful kit club, My Creative Scrapbook.  Pam, MCS founder, sent me the January Limited Edition kit and I was amazed at the product selection in this kit.  Quality, i tell you!  

Full of pretty Basic Grey Lucille collection papers and stickers complimented with loads of Prima flowers, lacy ribbons and a beautiful dressform chipboard piece!
