MAGNIFICENT LIFE layout (Dusty Attic DT - February Mood Board)

It's time to reveal my project designed for the February Dusty Attic mood board!

This is the beautiful February mood board:

 I really loved the warm feel of this image and the colour palette.

I went in search of a photo to scrap and found a beautiful sunset shot

in my pictures taken a while back and thought it would be perfect.

The word Magnificent from the Word Pack #13 was very fitting to the concept.

I used the Decorative Frame #5 and cut it in 2 pieces to slip underneath the photo.

I painted it with a mixture of Dusty in Colour Mountain Meadow and Capri.

In this cluster, you see the pretty Bridal Veil blooms that I matched with some lacey flowers from my stash. I slipped in some Foliage #18 colored with Dusty in Colour Soot, a gorgeous Cuts2luv badge and then sprinkled lots of sequins from Dress My Craft.

Given the theme of my layout, I just add to use this piece of the Wordplay #7 set.

You can also see a nice textured design on my background created with the Sparkle stencil.

I love to use quotes on my pages and I had this one as a sticker that I felt helped express my sentiment inspired by the February board image and this stunning sunset photo.

Of course the word LUCK made me think of St Patrick's Day

so I added a clover-like leaf and lots of green on my tag.

The word LUCKY was a sticker I've had in my stash for a long time.

I like how the little red heart pops out.

WITH ALL MY HEART layout (Dusty Attic DT)

Hi everyone!

As Valentine's Day is soon approaching, 

I thought that I would create for you a valentine-inspired layout 

with lots of 'lovey dovey' chippies from The Dusty Attic.

For the title of my page, I chose the impact title 'With All My Heart'

which I treated with dark teal embossing powder and then dabbed 

with Dusty in Colour Oceania and Capri.

The focal chipboard piece on my layout is this gorgeous Entangled Heart

that I have been saving for a while to use on the perfect project.

I absolutely adore all the engraved designs which when treating with

embossing powders really show up so very nicely.

I layered my composition with a couple pieces of the Heart Attack Border #1, 

the beautiful Creative Script as well as a few Flutterbies #3 and Heart Arrows #2.

We took this selfie a couple years back while waiting for a concert to start.

I absolutely love how happy we look... and are! :)

ALWAYS & FOREVER Layout (More Than Words DT - February Main Challenge)

I am so happy to be finally sharing with you my layout
for the More Than Words February main challenge reveal.

I absolutely love how it turned out!

up for grabs as well as inspiration from the very talented MTW DT right HERE.

This month's word inspired me to create a layout of my boyfriend and I.

Love is by far my favorite scrapbooking theme and I hope to ALWAYS

have happy pictures of us like this to create with.

For the creative challenge I used a QUOTE from one of my favorite

books by Khalil Gibran, The Prophet. These beautiful words 

are definitely what Yves and I strive for in our relationship.

I started my layout with a base of Scrapberry's patterned paper.

I thought it was just the perfect amount of pretty for this page.

I looked through my stash and took out all the accents that would match,

going a bit crazy with some orange, peach and yellow.

I added some paint splatters here and there to bring the different colours together.
