Who's in the mood for a little scrappin' and singin'?!

It's time for another DT reveal for Scrap & Music.

The song inspiration for sketch #24 is Jack Johnson's Better Together.

I used lots of My Mind's Eye papers and embellishments for this layout.

I loved this quote from the song.

Celeste & Jade (My Creative Sketches March Reveal)

Earlier this month, i shared with you several layouts and cards created with the March Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook.  I promised you one last layout later on in the month.  Well, today's the day!

It's also reveal day for My Creative Sketches and as you may have guessed, my layout is based on the new sketch for March:

With an adorable picture of my friends' daughters, this layout is one of my favorite so far this year.  I love how the stenciled work on the white background turned out and the MME papers, Prima flowers and doily sticker all complement themselves so well.

Wonderful (White with... Latte & 2Crafty)

More and more, i love working with the color white as a background on my cards and layouts.  And for the last few months, i've been inspired by the gorgeous layouts shared on the White... with 1 challenge blog so i decided to play along.

 

After having done some stenciling and misting on my background, 

the main focus on my layout lie in all the beautiful 2Crafty chipboard pieces I added, including a large "Cog Nested Frame" and the "Wonderful" title.

The "Frame Allegra", which I painted with Cinnamon colored silk glaze 

and dabbed with white paint, looks very elegant, focusing in on this quote.

The "Soft Feathers" are simply irresistible and come in a pack of 5.  

I used 3 of them on my layout as well as an "Edgar Swirl" and treated them all the same as the frame and title..

A wonderful selfie of Yves and I during a leisurely walk in a local wooden park.... warms the heart, just like a nice sweet latte.  :)

Beautiful Girls (SATW, OUAS & 2Crafty)

I'm sharing with you today a layout created for my DT reveal at 2Crafty chipboard.  

If you've seen this month's mood board at Scrap Around the World, you might have guessed that this layout was inspired by it with all its pretty pink hues and delicate girly images, which right away reminded me of my nieces.

I was also inspired by another favorite challenge blog of mine, the March sketch and journaling challenge at Once Upon A Sketch.

 I found that both challenges went perfectly together and were great inspiration to scrapbook this precious photo of the most beautiful girls in the world.

I handwrote my journaling on a tag... a little heartfelt wish for Ella and Daphne.  They are so full of life, happiness and personality, and I hope that they always stay that way.  I hope that life treats them well. :)

And no girly layout is complete without a butterfly 

and the "Graceful Butterfly" from 2Crafty is a beauty.

 I covered some of the chipboard with just white paint while other chipboard pieces like the  "Beautiful Girls" title were painted white and then dabbed with different pink shades of Silk Glazes.  This pretty vine that I tucked beneath my flower cluster comes from the  "Leafy Shrub Set 2" and the smaller frame is from the "Square Leafy Frame Set".

Someone Like You (Scrap & Music #23)

If you are a fan of Adele's music as I am, you will want to play along with this new challenge at Scrap & Music!  Put on her cd, crank up the volume and create a layout based on the sketch below and inspired by the lyrics of her heart-wrenching song, Someone Like You.

MCS March DT Reveal - Part 3

For those who might have missed it, here is the pretty MME-filled March Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook:

This kit is filled to the brim with gorgeous papers and embellishments.  In total, i was able to create 2 double-page layouts (shared HERE), 2 single-page layouts (one can be seen in yesterday's post HERE and the other one will be shared later on this month) and 4 cards, each for a different occasion.

MCS March DT Reveal - Part 2

 My niece Ella was the sweetest baby in the world when she was 1, and even now, almost 8 years later (it'll be her 9th birthday this month), she's still just as sweet.
