My Creative Scrapbook Sneak Peeks!

We Are Family (Scrap & Music #20)

It's time for another challenge reveal over at Scrap & Music!

 

This fabulous sketch is paired with the very popular song "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers.

Here is what I created:

 Whenever i hear the Hey Ho song, it makes my heart sing and i see bright fun colors and designs.

 I used several different chipboard pieces from 2Crafty on my layout including these adorable Circle Flowers and the Loopy Love Hearts Frame seen below.

  

 The picture is of my nieces having fun with their one and only cousin... 3 little girls who will undoubtedly be not only family, but also best friends forever.

Unconditional Love (OUAS & SATW)

Love is the greatest inspiration of all, isn't it?

Well, there are no challenge blogs that I love more nowadays than Once Upon A Sketch and Scrap Around the World, and I got creative with both their January challenge.

Over at Once Upon a Sketch, Nadia's beautiful sketch was the basis for my design along with the journalling theme of "Lessons learnt".

At Scrap Around the World, i got swooned in by this soft and beachy mood board.

(I especially loved the colors of the last image with the twine and sea glass.)

Merging these two challenges together inspired me to create this layout:

 My favorite beach-themed pattern paper has got to be the 9th Wave collection from 7Dots Studio.  When i saw SATW's mood board, i knew right away that i wanted to use these beautiful papers along with this picture of Yves writing me a love note on the beach.

My journalling talks about how Yves has taught me what is unconditional love.  I always knew that i would someday find my soul mate... i just never knew to what extent his love would change my life. 

Every day he inspires me to be a better person.
